Bel Canto Farm is nestled in the heart of New York's Fingerlakes Wine Producing Region. The 1820 farmhouse sits on a Revolutionary War Land Grant Property offered as payment to those who served their country during the war. Bel Canto lies between Cayuga and Seneca Lake, neighboring the Finger Lakes National Forest. Nearby Cornell University Veterinary College is a great source for expert advice and alpaca care.
Our beautiful location offers sunrises in the morning and sunsets in the evening that bathe our fields of grazing alpacas in a warm, rosy glow. Guests may wander the beautiful grounds, gather a bouquet from our gardens and pick fruits and vegetables at the neighboring U-Pick Farm.
On your way to or from our farm, you might enjoy following the Finger Lakes Wine Trail along one of the lakes, taking a sailboat cruise, or hiking in the National Forest. There are waterfalls and gorges to explore in the hills all around us. If you love auto racing, the Watkins Glen Race Track is only 15 minutes away and is host to NASCAR and International Grand Prix Racing.
