Animal Description:
Materazzi 's sire and grandsire are two of North Americas leading black impact males. His sire Dark Shadow won the 2006 Dark Reserve Herdsire of the Year, Get of Sire award, 3 Championships and sired over 50 champion offspring. His grandsire Black Epic is a 7X Champion, multiple Get of Sire awards, and has sired over 55 champion offspring. Materazzi is a gorgeous male with strong, square frame and exceptionally straight lines. His head is very masculine and true-to-type and he is sporting a high-frequency crimp, outstanding density and uniform fleece character and length. His fleece at birth was TB, but he has matured into a Modern DSG. A great prospect for a black or grey breeding program.
Materazzi was awarded a 1st and COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP at MAPACA 2008, the worlds largest show ever. He has also received a 1st at PAOBA, 2nd Place at the Carolina Alpaca Celebration competing against all silver grey juveniles a 4th Place at the highly competitive Level 5 NAAS, and a 1st Place at The Futurity.
