As a young and emerging industry we believe education is vital for our individual and collective success. Decision-making should be based on science as well as practice but we must avoid evolving based on anecdotal information and hearsay.
We offer annual education events for new as well as experienced breeders. In addition, we are offering new workshops for anyone interested in learning more about the Alpaca lifestyle from animals to products. This introductory workshop is designed to raise local awareness of alpaca farming and the potential financial advantages of small, niche farming.
We have seen the benefit of education in our business and our lives and are a farm committed to operating under the highest standards. To this end we are able to access expertise at Cornell University where cutting edge research and extension are being conducted. We have relationships with faculty who are willing to share their expertise for the betterment of our industry.
