Hootalinqua consistently produces outstanding quality cria, and is an exceptional mom. Her offspring gain 1 to 1.5# per day with IgG's above 2000. Even at her age, she is a beauty to behold. Every breeding has produced color, primarily black, with beautiful conformation, fiber, and sweet temperaments. Her offspring are winning multiple ribbons, and 2 won Championships.
This year Hootalinqua delivered the most stunning fawn male, Raphael, sired by Bel Canto's Bellagio. This was the first time she's been bred to a light male, and she produced a beauty. Raphael has superb fleece and confirmation qualities and Hoot's beautiful face.
There was no hesitation about who to rebreed Hoot to this year, Bellagio was the man: we are hoping to duplicate Raphael (only maybe a girl this time).
